Sec. 16. Whenever an association is incorporated under Indiana law as a nonprofit corporation, for the purpose of constructing, operating, and maintaining a hospital to treat and care for persons with tuberculosis or other diseases, the county executive of the county in which the hospital is located may: (1) lease or convey the hospital of the county to the corporation; and (2) give financial aid to: (A) maintain and operate the hospital; and (B) pay for the treatment of county residents.
