"Proxy"

Sec. 20. As used in this chapter, "proxy" means a competent adult who: (1) has not been expressly designated in a declaration to make health care decisions for a particular incapacitated individual; and (2) is authorized and willing to make health care decisions for the individual under section 42 of this chapter.
