Issuance of substitute teacher's license

Sec. 9. If the superintendent of the school corporation that is the local education agency determines that: (1) a qualified licensed teacher is not available from the entities entering into an agreement under section 5 of this chapter; and (2) a qualified postsecondary instructor is available; to instruct in an educational program described in section 7 of this chapter, the superintendent may request the department to issue a substitute teacher's license to the instructor of an educational program described in section 7 of this chapter.
