Sec. 3. (a) The state board shall accredit a school that: (1) becomes a charter school under IC 20-24; and (2) complies with the requirements under IC 20-24. (b) An authorizer (as defined in IC 20-24-1-2.5) of a charter school is responsible for ensuring that the charter school is in compliance with applicable legal standards as determined by the state board.
