Sec. 17. Subject to section 18 of this chapter, each school corporation may administer annually to a child who: (1) is at least three (3) years of age and less than eleven (11) years of age; (2) is deaf or hard of hearing; and (3) has legal settlement in the school corporation; at least one (1) of the assessments approved by the center under section 15 of this chapter.
