Sec. 2. The board of trustees is composed of nine (9) trustees appointed by the governor as follows: (1) Seven (7) competent individuals, one (1) of whom must be a student. (2) Two (2) competent individuals who are alumni of Indiana State University nominated by the alumni council of Indiana State University.
