Receiving filing after deadline; exceptions

Sec. 1.9. (a) This section does not apply to a delinquent campaign finance filing received under IC 3-9. (b) This section does not apply to an application for voter registration received while registration is closed under IC 3-7. (c) Except as otherwise provided in this title, the election division, an election board, a circuit court clerk, a county voter registration office, or any other official responsible for receiving a filing under this title may not receive a filing that is offered to be filed after a deadline for the filing provided by this title.
