Sec. 8. As used in this chapter, "division of the service" means any of the following that are subject to this chapter and whose positions are under the same appointing authority: (1) A state department. (2) A division or branch of a state department. (3) An agency of the state government. (4) A branch of the state civil service. As added by P.L.229-2011, SEC.56.
