Sec. 2. (a) This section does not apply to enforcement matters that are the responsibility of the state police department under IC 10-11-2-28. (b) The department shall maintain, equip, and operate the following: (1) The state capitol building. (2) The office buildings and other property owned or leased by the state for the use of an agency.
