members Sec. 9. (a) Subject to subsection (b), each member of the commission serves until the expiration of this chapter, as provided in section 17 of this chapter. (b) A member appointed to the commission under section 6(a)(1) of this chapter serves at the pleasure of the governor. (c) If a vacancy occurs on the membership of the commission, the appointing authority shall appoint a successor to complete the remainder of the member's unexpired term.
