Study of real world career readiness programs

Sec. 14. (a) As used in this section, "career and technical education" has the meaning set forth in IC 20-20-38-1. (b) The cabinet shall: (1) study the advisability of establishing one (1) or more real world career readiness programs that combine the theory of a particular career with workforce practice or application in order to provide students with career and technical education credentials necessary to transition from school to the workforce; and (2) submit, not later than November 1, 2018, to the governor and the legislative council a report concerning the results of the study. The report to the legislative council must be in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6. As added by P.L.152-2018, SEC.1.
