Sale by purchasing agent

Sec. 3. A purchasing agency may sell property that: (1) has been left in the custody of an officer or employee of a governmental body and has remained unclaimed for more than one (1) year; or (2) belongs to the governmental body but is no longer needed or is unfit for the purpose for which it was intended.
