Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, "armed forces of the United States" means the active or reserve components of: (1) the army; (2) the navy; (3) the air force; (4) the coast guard; (5) the marine corps; or (6) the merchant marine. As added by P.L.79-2004, SEC.1.
