Applicability of chapter

Sec. 1. (a) This chapter applies to the certification of a motor carrier providing intrastate transportation by motor vehicle of property or passengers for compensation. (b) Section 18 of this chapter applies to the regulation of the following persons: (1) A motor carrier described in subsection (a).
