Sec. 1.5. The purpose of this chapter is to: (1) promote the public welfare and national security; (2) serve the public interest, convenience, and necessity; (3) promote air navigation and transportation (international, national, state, and local) in and through Indiana; (4) increase air commerce; (5) promote the efficient, safe, and economical handling of air commerce; and (6) assure the inclusion of Indiana in national and international programs of air transportation.
