"Diagnostic imaging facility"

Sec. 3. (a) As used in this chapter, "diagnostic imaging facility" means an entity that: (1) provides diagnostic imaging to an individual for the purpose of health care; and (2) is not owned or operated by a hospital licensed under IC 16-21-2. (b) The term does not include the following offices where an x-ray or imaging service is exclusively used by the office: (1) A dental office. (2) An optometrist office. (3) A practitioner's office.
