Sec. 54. As used in this article, "vessel" means watercraft or other contrivances used as a means of transportation on water. The term includes dredges used for navigation and transportation in deepening and removing obstructions from channels, rivers, or other waterways. As added by P.L.121-2026, SEC.11.
