Amendment of articles of incorporation under plan of reorganization

Sec. 10. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this article and subject to subsection (b), the amendment of the articles of incorporation of a mutual insurance company under a plan under this article must be conducted in compliance with IC 27-1-8. (b) The commissioner, the attorney general, and the secretary of state shall: (1) examine; and (2) if warranted, approve; the proposed articles of amendment before the amended articles are submitted to the members for approval.
