Contract requirements

Sec. 4. A contract entered into by a county, including a contract executed by a county officer, must meet the following requirements: (1) The contract must be executed in the name of the county. (2) Any property purchases for public use shall be: (A) titled to; or (B) documented as owned by; the county. As added by P.L.139-2024, SEC.1.
