The department shall deposit all fees received pursuant to this subsection with the treasurer of state for credit to the general fund of the state. \~\~ 6. \~\~ If a manufacturer has certified a cigarette pursuant to this section , and makes any change to the cigarette thereafter that is likely to alter the cigarette’s compliance with the reduced cigarette ignition propensity standards mandated by this chapter , prior to the cigarette being sold or offered for sale in this state, the manufacturer shall retest the cigarette in accordance with the testing standards specified in section 101B.4 and shall maintain records of the retesting as required pursuant to section 101B.4 . Any altered cigarette that does not meet the performance standard specified in section 101B.4 shall not be sold in this state. 2007 Acts, ch 166, §5 ; 2013 Acts, ch 139, §41 Referred to in §101B.3 , 101B.4 , 101B.6 , 101B.7 , 101B.8
