80B.11A Jailer training standards. The director of the academy, subject to the approval of the council, and in consultation with the Iowa department of corrections, Iowa state sheriffs’ and deputies’ association, and the Iowa peace officers association, shall adopt rules in accordance with this chapter and chapter 17A establishing minimum standards for training of jailers. 89 Acts, ch 62, §3; 2012 Acts, ch 1023, §10
