The department shall adopt rules related to the use of chain-of-custody paper. \~\~ 2. \~\~ As used in this section , unless the context otherwise requires, “certified chain-of-custody paper” means paper that has been certified pursuant to a process that tracks and records the possession and transfer of wood and fiber used to make paper through the different states of production to the end user of the paper. The department shall adopt rules defining “certified chain-of-custody paper” consistent with the certification requirements established by independent entities such as the forest stewardship council, sustainable forest initiative, or other similar entity. 2010 Acts, ch 1189, §37
