The director shall adopt rules which require a state agency to develop a program to ensure the recycling of the wastepaper generated by the agency. All state employees shall practice conservation of paper materials. \~\~ 2. \~\~ For the purposes of this section , “agency wastepaper” means wastepaper or wastepaper products generated by the agency. \~\~ 3. \~\~ The rules adopted by the director shall provide for the continuation of existing state agency contracts which provide for alternative waste management not including incineration or land burial of agency wastepaper. 2003 Acts, ch 145, §44 Referred to in §216B.3 , 262.9 , 307.21
