A birth certificate, or similar document validating the contestant’s date of birth, must be submitted at the time of the prefight physical examination in order to determine eligibility. \~\~ 2. \~\~ Subsection 1 does not apply to contestants in regional, national, or international organized amateur boxing contests or to organized amateur boxing contests involving contestants who are serving in the military service. \~\~ 3. \~\~ A person shall not be a contestant in a mixed martial arts match unless the contestant is eighteen years of age or older.
