Rules.

The state fire marshal shall adopt rules under chapter 17A for carrying out the responsibilities of this chapter . 2000 Acts, ch 1117, §17 For requirement that department of public safety revise rules on fire fighter training and certification to provide that a person who committed any crime as an adult that resulted in the requirement that the person be listed on a sex offender registry shall not be certified as a fire fighter and shall not serve as a noncertified fire fighter or volunteer fire fighter, see 2025 Acts, ch 71, §1
