Duties of consultants.

1. Consultants employed by the director and paid from the fund created by section 8.41 from moneys received from Pub. L. No. 97-35, Tit. V, subtit. D, ch. 2, shall assist those employees designated by the department as school improvement specialists in helping school districts to participate in school improvement activities identified as a result of the accreditation process conducted pursuant to section 256.11 . The department shall assign consultants to assist school districts that the department determines are most in need of participation in school improvement activities. 2.
