Definitions.

As used in this chapter , unless the context otherwise requires: 1. “College of veterinary medicine” means the Iowa state university of science and technology college of veterinary medicine. 2. “Council” means the livestock health advisory council created pursuant to section 267.2 . 3. “Fund” means the livestock disease research fund created in section 267.8 . 4. “Livestock” means the same as defined in section 717.1 . 5. “Member organization” means an organization appointing one or more members to the council pursuant to sections 267.2 and 267.3 . 6. “Producer” means a person engaged in the business of producing livestock for profit.
