Definitions.

As used in this chapter , unless the context otherwise requires: 1. “Commission” means the civil service commission or a combined county civil service commission created pursuant to the provisions of this chapter . 2. “Commissioner” means a member of the commission defined in subsection 1 . 3. “County” means a single county or several counties combined for the purposes enumerated in section 341A.3 .
