Statutory authority.

1. If a county or combination of counties has a civil service commission, this commission shall serve as the commission established by this chapter and shall have all the powers and duties provided by this chapter . 2. If more than one civil service commission exists, the one from the county with the largest population shall serve as the commission under this chapter .
