Priority of lien.

Except as provided in this section , section 554.9322 shall govern the priority of a harvester’s lien that is effective or perfected as provided in section 571.3 . 1. A harvester’s lien that is effective but not perfected under section 571.3 shall have priority as provided in section 554.9322 . 2. A harvester’s lien that is perfected under section 571.3 shall have priority over a conflicting security interest in harvested crops regardless of when such security interest is perfected. A perfected harvester’s lien shall have priority over a conflicting landlord’s lien as provided in chapter 570 , regardless of when such landlord’s lien is perfected. 2003 Acts, ch 82, §12 Referred to in §570A.5
