Public records.

1. Nothing in this chapter shall prohibit the public from examining and copying the public records of any public body or agency as authorized by chapter 22 . 2. Intelligence data in the possession of a criminal or juvenile justice agency, state or federal regulatory agency, or peace officer, or disseminated by such agency or peace officer, are confidential records under section 22.7, subsection 55 .
