Definitions.

As used in this chapter , unless the context otherwise requires: 1. “Commissioner” means the commissioner of public safety. 2. “Controlled substance” means the same as defined in section 124.101 . 3. “Counterfeit substance” means the same as defined in section 124.101 . 4. “Department” means the department of public safety. 5. “Peace officer” means a peace officer of the department as defined in section 97A.1 . 2005 Acts, ch 35, §1
