Definitions

19-4402. Definitions. The following words and phrases when used in this act shall, for the purpose of this act, have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in this section. Agency. A county law enforcement agency established under the provisions of this act. Department. A county law enforcement department established under the provisions of this act. Superintendent. The superintendent of a county law enforcement department appointed under the provisions of this act. Law enforcement officer or county law enforcement officer. A law enforcement officer who is a member of a county law enforcement department appointed under the provisions of this act. History: L. 1970, ch. 117, § 2; July 1.
