Failure to prove defendant impersonated an actual person is fatal and requires reversal. State v. Banks, 14 Kan. App. 2d 393, 394, 790 P.2d 962 (1990). 2. When the prosecution of a traffic citation commences examined. State v. Donlay, 253 Kan. 132, 137, 853 P.2d 680 (1993). 3. The signing of a promise to appear or pay regarding a municipal court traffic fine does not equate to a confession of judgment. State v. Diaz, 49 Kan. App. 2d 436, 308 P.3d 17 (2013).
