25-2709. Destruction of election records. The following election records may be destroyed after they have been on file for the period stated: (1) Appointments and oaths of office of election board members, two years. (2) Registration lists, five years. (3) Poll books, five years. (4) Party affiliation lists, five years. (5) Abstracts of voting records, 20 years. (6) Affidavits required to be filed by the election laws of the state of Kansas, including advance voting and mail ballot envelopes containing voters' declarations, two years. (7) All other election records used at polling places, two years. (8) Declination forms maintained by voter registration agencies and the division of motor vehicles, two years.
