Standards for immediate intervention

38-2395. Standards for immediate intervention. (a) The department of corrections, in collaboration with the office of judicial administration, shall develop standards and procedures to guide the administration of an immediate intervention process and programs developed pursuant to K.S.A. 38-2346, and amendments thereto, and alternative means of adjudication pursuant to K.S.A. 38-2389, and amendments thereto. Such standards and procedures shall include, but not be limited to: (1) Contact requirements; (2) parent engagement; (3) graduated response and discharge requirements; and (4) process and quality assurance.
