Dunn, 75 Kan. 799, 90 P. 231. 2. Appeal lies from juvenile court to district court. State v. Dubray, 121 Kan. 886, 889, 250 P. 316. 3. Case tried de novo subject to limitations of juvenile court. Hollis v. Brownell, 129 Kan. 818, 821, 284 P. 388. 4. Order committing dependent and neglected child is appealable; "commitment" defined; jurisdiction of district court on appeal. State, ex rel., v. Hartford Accident & Ind. Co., 154 Kan. 79, 82, 114 P.2d 812. 5. Party dissatisfied with juvenile court's order should appeal; jurisdiction. Houser v. Houser, 166 Kan. 45, 48, 199 P.2d 497. 6.
