Revisor's Note: This section was first repealed by L. 1968, ch. 45, § 45, which was later held unconstitutional by the U.S. District Court for the district of Kansas filed March 28, 1968. (Long, et al, v. Docking, et al. civil action No. W-3220). The Senatorial districts as established in 1972 by decree of the U.S. District Court of Kansas (Anderson v. Docking et al., Civil Action No. W-3220) were published under 4-445. CASE ANNOTATIONS 1. 1964 act valid and constitutional. Harris v. Shanahan, 192 Kan. 629, 630, 631, 390 P.2d 772. 2. 1964 act denied concept of "one man, one vote" and violated due process and equal protection provisions of fourteenth amendment of federal constitution. Long v. Avery, 251 F. Supp. 541, 544, 549, 550, 553, 554, 556, 558, 559: Modified to stay effectiveness until April 1, 1968, 251 F. Supp. 559.
