40-2228f. Long-term care insurance prompt payment act; effective date. (a) K.S.A. 40-2228f through 40-2228h, and amendments thereto, shall be known as the Kansas long-term care insurance prompt payment act and shall apply to any policy of long-term care insurance issued or renewed in this state. (b) The provisions of the Kansas long-term care prompt payment act shall take effect and be in force on and after January 1, 2008. History: L. 2007, ch. 150, § 5; July 1.
