40-298. Sale of insurance in connection with sale and financing of automobile; definitions. As used in this act, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them herein: (a) "Automobile dealer" means a new vehicle dealer or a used vehicle dealer as defined by K.S.A. 8-126, and amendments thereto; (b) "Automobile" means a passenger vehicle as defined by K.S.A. 8-126, and amendments thereto; (c) "Dealer" means any automobile dealer or lending agency; (d) "Lending agency" means any person engaged in the business of financing or lending money to any person to be used in the purchase or financing of a motor vehicle; and (e) "Person" means any individual, partnership, corporation or other association of persons.
