45-410. Legislative records; legislative coordinating council control. The state records board shall have no control over the disposition of legislative records. Subject to the approval of the legislative coordinating council, those records with enduring value as determined by the state archivist may be transferred to the state archives. Recommended retention and disposition schedules for legislative records may be prepared by the state archivist. The correspondence and other papers of an individual legislator shall be considered the personal property of the individual legislator. History: L. 1981, ch. 331, § 10; July 1.
