46-1216. Approval of vouchers and payrolls of office of revisor of statutes and legislative research department; other vouchers and payrolls of council. (a) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for the office of revisor of statutes shall be made on vouchers approved by the revisor of statutes. All claims for salaries, wages or other compensation to persons to be paid from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for the office of revisor of statutes shall be certified as provided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the revisor of statutes. (b) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for the legislative research department shall be made on vouchers approved by the director of legislative research. All claims for salaries, wages or other compensation to be paid from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for the legislative research department shall be certified as provided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the director of legislative research. (c) Expenditures from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for other than the office of revisor of statutes or legislative research department shall be made on vouchers approved by the chairman or vice-chairman of the legislative coordinating council. All claims for salaries, wages or other compensation from appropriations to the legislative coordinating council for other than the office of revisor of statutes or the legislative research department shall be certified as provided in K.S.A. 75-3731 by the chairman or vice-chairman of the legislative coordinating council.
