Definitions

47-2301. Definitions. As used in this act: (a) "Commission" means the Kansas dairy commission. (b) "Purchaser" means any person, public or private corporation, association or partnership who buys fluid milk from the seller or acts as an agent for the sale transaction. (c) "Producer" means a person who is actively engaged within this state in the business of producing fluid milk and who receives income from the production of fluid milk. (d) "Sale" or "sold" means a transaction in which fluid milk is transferred from the seller to a purchaser for full or partial consideration. (e) "Secretary" means the secretary of agriculture.
