48-3049. (KCMJ Art. 104) Public records offenses. Any person subject to this code shall be punished at the direction of a commanding officer if such person willfully: (a) Alters, conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates or destroys a public record; or (b) takes a public record with the intent to alter, conceal, remove, mutilate, obliterate or destroy such public record.
