48-3054. (KCMJ Art. 111) Leaving the scene of a vehicle accident. (a) Any person subject to this code shall be punished at the direction of a commanding officer if such person: (1) Is the driver of a vehicle that is involved in an accident that results in a personal injury or property damage; and (2) wrongfully leaves the scene of the accident without providing: (A) Assistance to an injured person; or (B) personal identification to others involved in the accident or to appropriate authorities. (b) Any person subject to this code shall be punished at the direction of a commanding officer if such person: (1) Is a passenger in a vehicle that is involved in an accident that results in personal injury or property damage; (2) is the superior commissioned or noncommissioned officer of the driver or commander of the vehicle; and (3) wrongfully and unlawfully orders, causes or permits the driver to leave the scene of the accident without providing: (A) Assistance to an injured person; or (B) personal identification to others involved in the accident or to appropriate authorities.
