51-202. Blind bidding prohibited; notice of screening required. (a) Blind bidding is hereby prohibited within this state. No bids shall be returnable, no negotiations for the exhibition or licensing of a motion picture shall take place and no license agreement or any of its terms shall be agreed to for the exhibition of any motion picture in this state before the motion picture has been trade screened within this state. (b) Every distributor shall furnish to all exhibitors in this state reasonable and uniform notice of all trade screenings that are held by the distributor within this state.
