Corporation officer may maintain action on notes owned by corporation. Bank v. Kinnett, 113 Kan. 360, 362, 214 P. 776. 2. Payment by maker extinguishes indebtedness; action by beneficial owner. National Bank v. Greathouse, 114 Kan. 903, 905, 220 P. 1053. 3. Holder in due course may recover on note of incompetent person. First National Bank v. Kallash, 135 Kan. 73, 74, 9 P.2d 670. 4.
