55-1105. Penalty for violation of act. Any person violating the provisions of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or by imprisonment for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.
