58-30a15. Failure to file suit to foreclose lien. If a broker claiming a lien pursuant to this act fails to file suit to enforce the lien within 30 days after a properly served written demand of the owner, the lien shall be extinguished. Service of such demand shall be by restricted mail as defined by K.S.A. 60-103 and amendments thereto or by personal service. History: L. 2005, ch. 179, § 15; July 1.
