59-2120. Interstate adoption; procedures. Interstate placements of children shall comply with the procedures contained in the interstate compact on placement of children as set forth in K.S.A. 38-1202, and amendments thereto. Any professional providing services related to the placement of children for adoption who fails to comply with the provisions of the interstate compact for the placement of children is guilty of a class C nonperson misdemeanor.
